The Western Atlantic High Pressure System is building, with increasing wind speeds bringing patches of low-level clouds/occasionally cloudy skies and a few scattered showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

Low level moisture is expected to fluctuate during the next few days, while mid to upper levels remain relatively dry.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), in collaboration with the University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Center and the Ministry of Education convened an Earthquake Tsunami Teacher Awareness Workshop on Tuesday, January 16, at the University of the West Indies Global Campus.

Occasional isolated showers may interrupt fair conditions for the remainder of Thursday as unstable conditions linger across the SVG.

Occasional scattered showers are forecast for the remainder of Wednesday as a shear line affects the island.
