The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) wishes to notify the general public that a National Firearms (Gun) Amnesty will come into effect on Friday, 1st March, 2024, for ninety-one (91) days. It will conclude on Friday, 31st May, 2024.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) has been informed of ‘increased activities’ at the Kick ‘em Jenny submarine volcano which began at 11:14 p.m. on Friday, 9th February, 2024 and is ongoing.

Varying concentrations of Saharan dust continue to create hazy conditions reducing visibility across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and the associated dry air limits shower activity…Historically, rainfall totals across SVG are lowest during the months February-March.
