An official ceremony was held on Monday, 25th June, 2018, to mark the hand-over of a vessel to the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service.

The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines continues to pay special attention to Disaster Risk Reduction given the vulnerability of this country to natural hazards.

The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) says it continues to work closely with the Police and other stakeholder organizations to ensure that everything is in place for proper disaster management in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force will be hosting a crime prevention exhibition on Friday, June 29th, 2018, at the Central Police Station, under the theme “Be Involved – Stay informed: Make a Difference”.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through its Office for Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and the Florida International University (FIU) will host a four (4) day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Instructor Training from the 22nd - 25th May, 2018.
